Who would have thought that in 2020, in such an evolved society where pestilence seemed a thing of the past, a virus would bring humans to their knees. Nevertheless we are still here, still human enough to suffer from a “simple Virus”. Although we try to battle and defeat diseases we still haven’t managed to eradicate them simply because - thankfully - we are still just humans and not gods.
The social context here seems almost unreal, surreal, part of a movie or something not rational. Between mass hysteria and uncertain futures, Art presents itself as an inspirer of questions and an evoker of answers.
This exhibition wants to be a middle ground between two worlds: the objective-collective and the subjective-personal, becoming a world where one’s reflections can become another’s answers.
